You are not a natural man.

1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually .

Who is a natural man? A natural man is a man without the Spirit of God. Our opening Scripture in the New International Version (NIV ) actually puts it that way; 1 Corinthians 2:14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him,..."

If you are born again, you are no longer a natural man because you have the Spirit of God. As a born again child of God, you have the Spirit of God dwelling in you; Romans 8:9 "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."

How can you just be natural, with the supernatural God living inside you. You are the dwelling place of God Almighty; Ephesians 2:22 "And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit."

Many of us though born again and having the Spirit of God in us, live our lives as though we are still just natural. I want to by God's grace show you some of the characteristics of the natural man.

The natural man is without the spirit of God, he lives independent of the Spirit of GOD. All that the natural man has is his own human effort, energy of the flesh, his own strength and ability, his wisdom.

You and I on the other hand have the Spirit of God, we have access to the very strength of the Almighty, the very wisdom of God because of the indwelling of the Spirit of God. We must begin to take advantage of what we have. Don't just rely on human effort, look inward to the wisdom and strength of God. 1 John 4:4 says greater is He that is in you. The truth is that what is inside you is far greater than what is outside of you. wedding wears suitable for a tall bride

When we live our lives independent of the Holy Spirit, we are not different from those who don't have the Spirit.
