Cautionary tale and lessons learned! Two nights ago I woke up with unbearable pain in my wrists and ankles. Woke up with the same kind of pain in my knees. Went to ER, spent all day there, they had no clue. Came home still in pain and called a friend who is also dealing with a lung issue and she immediately asked if I was taking prednisone, which I have been taking as an emergency remedy due to my lung infection. "Yep," she said, "that's what happened to me. When the predniso short length prom and formal collections ... ne is leaving your body it hurts like hell." I try to never take pain meds so I opted to just lie there and chant Nam Myoho Renge Kyo to get rid of the pain. So, around 15 minutes later, no more pain! And it hasn't come back. Reminder to self: avoid prednisone if at all possible. I've always called that med "a deal with the devil" because it has miraculous results and then you pay for that down the line.
