so I need some mommy advice... Arabellas belly button/ umbilical cord smells something fierce, I have never experienced this before with any of the others! I talked to the nurse yesterday and she suggested cleaning it with rubbing alcohol, which I have always done with my other babies but they told me not to worry about it before we left the hospital with her because it doesn't really make it dry out any faster, so any way I started cleaning her belly button/ umbilical cord with the rubbing alcohol but the smell has gotten incredibly worse then it was yesterday. has any one else had this issue??? im thinking about just taking her up to the dr today for an emergency appointment. semi formal or casual items to wear for women
