Very tragic history of Baptists
Terrell Phillips>>> Very tragic history of Baptists afterwards in the decades following their abandoned Sound Doctrine--- The 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith, also called the Second London Baptist Confession, was written by Particular Baptists, who held to All Bible Doctrines in England to give a formal expression of their Christian faith from a Baptist perspective.

Today, replaced with Darkened Theaters, multi-media sound systems, rejection of All Bible Doctrines that would cast doubt on Arminianism, 7-Eleven Music (7 mushy words sung Eleven Times), Nashville-Rock Grunge Bands, Entertainment, Pulpit Jokes, cheap Salvation according to the will of man and WITHOUT the call for Repentance, and congregations composed primarily of women decked in mini-shirts & hooker platform stilettos, and men dressed in casual "Magnum PI attire". In short, "the worship of Jesus served up on a cheap paper plate." Not trying to be cruel, but rather to ADMONISH all of us to consider "what are we demonstrating to the Lost World in our supposed Separation from the world, and Corporate Worship time "in it, but not of it.? Do outwardly look like we belong to the world or to Christ? Does our speech and our interests/activities reflect Galatians 2:20 ? formal evening party wears

May our Great God and Savior never find us ever at the foot of Mt. Sinai in the company of others worshiping a golden calf.

Jesus keep me near The Cross
In the cross, in the cross,
Be my glory ever;
Till my raptured soul shall find
Rest beyond the river.
